I keep collected data for each of the principal families on a spreadsheet with columns for: Year Event Location Date (if known) Details Source Notes e.g. on a death 'wife of' or ogainst a marriage 'Sarah died 1885' You can add any others as seems apt. e.g. if you have the Christian name column you can sort on that to bring all those with the same name together. Or you can sort by event to bring all births together. Or by Location, so all those in the same village come together. |

Does anybody keep copie of their work on spreadsheets. If so how do you lay it out. I am new to spreadsheets. |
