Presumably the marriage cert you have is lacking the fathers details? Glen |

Hi Glen The marriage cert says Father Daniel. Labourer. Ahhh l'm awake now. l apply for the cert asking for the one who has Daniel as his father a Labourer. Thanks for triggering my brain into gear. Regards Pam |

I'm also guessing that he was born after the census was taken? Have you found a possible match for the father Daniel down as a labourer in the census?(although he might have had a different occupation in 1851 to the occupation details his son gave at the time of marriage.) Glen |

Hi Glen l have the elder Daniel Logan back to the 1841 at home with his parents. Typically both parents only put lreland as place of birth so stuck with them there. l am sending for Daniel's birth cert today so at least can confirm his father. The proverbial brick wall is what happened to Daniel's parents. l can't find a death for the father even though l have trawled the ancestry complete. Regards pam |
