A recent thread on here reminded me that my father was based there at Gosport during the war. I had a look through some old photographs and noticed three identical class photographs which, with the help of the St Vincent website I was able to confirm. We've kept one of them, and this afternoon I put one of the others on E-Bay, so hopefully thanks to Genes Reunited somebody else will be able to own a family artefact. If your ancestor was based there it may be worth checking out. |

Paul, You may have already done this, why don't you put up a copy on HMS St Vincents Site? http://www(.)hmsstvincentassoc(.)org/index.html They have a few up there already and you may then be able to get some names of his class mates. |
