I'm afraid I don't know darlington very well, I got th info from my local FHS at hartlepool. It's nice to be abl to go and see actual house that our rellies lived in--so far I've only found closer rllies houses--all the older ones houses have long since disappeared, although i've been told there is a gypsy caravan at Beamish which has some connection to my family-so when the weather chears up I'm going to take th family on an expedition for the day |

I was interested to see your message here as I used to live in Vane Terrace back in the 1940's. My Grandfather Mt Thomas Henderson lived in (I think) No 7, backing onto the church yard. Regards Tom Henderson |
