I'm currently researching the name Lilian Aldridge George, (not sure if this is a double barreled name) she married Bernard Allsop a school teacher from Aldenham Herts on 28th August 1906 at the Parish Church in Romsey, she was 27 and he was 31, I believe Lilian's Father was William Bentley George who was a brewer and a JP, .... Did they have children? and when & where did they die? many grateful thanks if someone can help me out on this one. Audrey |

So you are going forward, not backward? Take it you have the marriage certificate and hence their dads names and occupations. Unfortunately, as they married after 1901 its going to be a long old trawl through the bmd index to find out if they had kids - not an easy job and then uncertain unless you buy the certificates to confirm the parents. In late 1911 it gets easier as the mothers maiden name will be shown on the index. I dont envy you! |
