I have printed a few reports and although the size of the print is fine I have noticed that on similar reports sent to me be attachments on e-mail from a friend the printing is a little larger.. Does anyone know if it is possible to change the size of the print in FTM or is it just that it is a larger print when received by e-mail hope this makes sense |

When you have the report on screen there's an abc icon on the right hand side where you can change font and size. Is that what you need? Heather |

FTM allows you to change the style an appearance of all its reports. It is a little bit fidly till you get used to it. Once you have made a change, it remembers the changes for next time. Firts run your report, say a Standard Descendant Tree. With the rpeport on screen, click on format and you will see teo option. Box, line and border styles and Text font sytyle and size. For my trees I prefer nor to have a box. For the font, I like to have nathe names in Bold, Births and deaths in normal print and marriages in italics. Have a go and see what it can do. |

Peter.... My print size was 10....I notice now that the ones sent me are 12.......I am not sure I understand the font and box thing but I will as you say have a look at altering different bits....I was not aware that it could be done.....l think that the ' notes ' do look better when they are smaller than the main print Here goes.....by the way......I did what you said with the notes thing and now have all the census years and occupations shown Colin |
