Both state 'after Banns' and both have signatures of Ministers of the Parish |

I have downloaded a marriage from Scotlands People and it states that the marriage took place at 5 Duncan Place Leith in 1920. Another marriage took place at 162 Hill Street Glasgow in 1917. Was it normal to hold a ceremony at home or do you think that they could have been places of worship? Thanks |
