ages on 1841 census Robert Carruthers aged 9 Mary Ann Carruthers aged 2 one of the children´s birth certificates would show father´s name

Lost husband Hi all, Can anyone tell me how I go about looking for a missing husband. The family I'm looking for is on the 1851 census names are: Fanny Carruthers 1804 Sutton Cheshire Head Mary Ann Carruthers 1839 Sutton Cheshire Daughter Ester Johnson 1814 Sutton Cheshire Sister Amy Wardle 1794 Sutton Cheshire Sister in Law I also have them on the 1841 census listed as: Fanny Carruthers Mary Ann Carruthers Robert Carruthers Ester Johnson Martha Johnson William Johnson Caroline Johnson John Johnson and Nancy Wardle Where do I go to look for Fanny's Husband?
