how do you find births in scotland after 1905

Thanks to the two of you. That seems daft when Ancestry allow you to go through to 1983. Now I'm stuck again! Jan

just found this on the web For reasons of confidentiality, births after 1905, marriages after 1930 and deaths after 1955 can only be viewed at either New Register House or Park Circus. They are not available online. hope that helps

I can't see any answers on the Scottish GRO site, but I think you might have to either go there in person OR ask them to search on your behalf. www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/famrec/hlpsrch/index.html nell

I've joined ScotlandsPeople and have found a marriage and a death but can't find any births as the indexes only go up to 1905. How do you search for them?
