You can't do it on this site but if the person can send you a gedcom file you can merge it with your file using a family tree programme. I think the who do you think you are one available for about £10.00 can do this. The larger gedcom can be uploaded here. However it is not a good idea to copy someone else's research without checking and you should not add living people without their permission. You might like to upload your tree to the ancestry world tree project which is attempting to link all family trees and to check if you have any matches. However it is worth noting that the imformation on there varies in quality and is mainly supplied by people researching from America. |

I have fund a number of links over the last two weeks. I would like to be able to link my tree to another tree and actually go back through that tree. If I have permission to look at another tree I can't see that that would be a problem with a permanent link. Any tips on this or is this a facility we should asked to be added ? Thanks Ann |
