I am getting in a complete mess with my great x 3 grandad. He married first wife when she had been married before and already had 3 kids, then they had my great x 2 grandmother. His first wife died and he re married to another women who already had 7 kids, 6 from her marriage and 1 illegitimate. They went on to have a child of their own, My tree now looks like a spiders web and it getting me confused. Should I just remove all the step kids and marriages and just leave my great x 2 grandmother? Linda (in a total mess) |

No don't remove them, you never know when they might turn up as witnesses to a marriage or death. Heather |

Linda, some of my ancestors are like that but now it looks as though the first wife was a cousin of the second! Even more confusing! Kate. |
