Hi l am totally stuck on my grandmother Mary Elizabeth Cowdell born 1894 Birstall. West Yorkshire married Edward Patchett born 1899 Eccleshill. Bradford. (son of Albert) Bradford 1920. l cannot find any trace of them after their marriage. l have trawled ancestry (the complete one) for their deaths up to 1983 Also searched for births of any children and zilch, nothing at all. l am in contact with Bradford Patchett's but none of them know what became of Edward. My mum was illegitimate and was raised by her gran. Has anyone got any idea's where l look next. Anything at all would be a help as l'm totally stuck. Pam |

Pam did they stay in this country? Did Edward Patchett die and Mary remarry? Georgina. |

Hi Georgina l have looked for deaths and found none for either of them l haven't looked for a re marriage for my gran. l never thought of that. As for going abroad - l've no idea. l believed my gran had died when my mum was young. Mum went to live in Cornwall in her early teens with her auntie so l don't know if she knew where her mum went.
