Hope I get this right and it makes sense: Have my grandmother living at the same address in 1901, aged 4, as my grandfathers(later her husband) uncle was living at on the 1891!!!!!! Regards Looby

Linda, How do you clean up your census images? I just print off how they come. Cant help being thick!!! When I was growing up in the 1930's, my friend lived opposite, next door Aunt and family and next to that Grandparents. I think families did tend to be near one another then. Our family was spread over three streets and for many years my Grandparents lived with us. Ann

Ok here's how I clean my images up. no doubt someone will have any easier way I save the image to my desktop, open it up with paint. Then use to rubber part and the little paint can to get rid black border (saves ink when printing) if you zoom in on the image you can rub lots of the shading and blobs of ink, makes the page look whiter and the image clearer to read. Linda (p.s I am computer thick too!)

Linda, Thanks for the IT lesson, a big help to us nerds. I will do that next time I have an image to do. Knowing me I will probably erase the Bl...y lot. L0L Ann
