I have been the victim of three hubby and wife teams in the records office,(not bad for a first visit). Mind you i did find two births that i wouldn't have looked at otherwise (both babies died within 12 hours of birth and one on Xmas day). My average lifespan on the tree gets shorter by the day so you better be quick,i'm on borrowed time. Glen

Shock - horror - he was lurking. See I warned you about husband and wife teams didnt I? Did any of them look like Roy and Hayley from Corrie? They always seem to be very organised these teams, with things like flasks and that, rather than having to kick the coffee vending machine. They are probably the same people who you see sitting by verges next to their car with little folding table and chairs.

Hi Heather You don't need to worry about the ones sitting on the verge by their cars any more. I have invented a brilliant scheme for sending them scurrying away. They are called 'portable puddles'. When you are driving along and see the couple up ahead with their flask and folding chairs etc, you stand up with your head through the sun roof and throw a portable puddle towards them (bit like throwing the discus). Then you drive like a maniac through the puddle, thereby drenching them. What do you think? Tina

Yes, we may need to trip wire Glen now as well as our husbands. Obviously the ankle manacle isnt really doing the job is it? Portable puddle - you mean a bucket of water? Nar, wouldnt do that, I wouldnt be able to feel laid back, cool and superior if all these people and their tartan rugs disappeared from the roadside! Talking of trip wires - mine went about ten minutes ago and I told him I was in the loo, he must think Im having womens troubles as he hasnt shouted out again. Better not push my luck, put on a bit of dinner for him. Catch you later guys. Oh, its Big Bro tonight
