Please someone! I have been trying to decipher a word on the 1901 census for my great grandmother ever since the census was released. Not all of the time (lol), just keep coming back to it. In the last column where it states invalidity etc. I can read 'debility (invalid)'. BUT, what is the first word? I have her death cert, no clues on that. Alice Mortlock age 48. 1901 census RG 13/2646 Folio 32 page 17 Someone stop me tearing my hair out please!! Margaret
