Well I think I will that I try. Might order one first just to see. I am sooooo impatient...can not stand another 4 week wait like March/Aprils, lol. Thanks for the replies Pen x

I think they are copies of the originals but i will ring them and ask. It does say on the certificate, Certified to be a true copy of an entry in a register in my custody. Just the same as from the GRO. Ann

I believe they are photocopies, but if they arn't someone will put me write iam sure. Gill

Can I just ask a quick question - do you get a copy from them as it appeared then, or do they write it out themselves? This is the bit that put's me off ordering from local reg's. Thank you Pen x

I posted to S-O-T register office Monday, recieved the cert back this morning. Much better sending to local office were event took place. I always do.Better than waiting 25 days from GRO Gill

Sent off a letter Monday evening 15/5 ready for collection Tuesday morning to Manchester Registrars Office for a death certificate and a marriage certificate for two different people. In this mornings post 18/5 there they both were. Cant believe the quick way they have dealt with this, and all for £14. In future will get my certs from them. Ann
