Can anyone tell me if someone was born in Northfleet, Kent about 1848, what district would it be. Also I'm not good at English geography, only the maps I find on web. I have someone born and living in Mashbury,Essex marrying someone from Northfleet, Kent. Marriage registered in Shoreditch, Middlesex, in 1877. They then settled in Plaistow, Essex. Wife was born Essex. |

Northfleet was in North Aylesford district up till 1884, then the name was changed to Strood. Richard |
