Well I suppose it was unlikely hed live to his 90s, but Ive got quite a few who did. In the earliest census are the kids still living in same area as you found him marrying/being baptised? I guess you have tried the IGI or you wouldnt have that early marriage or his baptism. So does look like a case of searching parish records either in person, by going to a mormon family centre (having ordered right records) or having a google for a local fhs who may have transcripts or who are willing to check it for a fee? |

hiya, have you tried 'hugh wallis' web site, holds alot of parish records, but not all, just google hugh wallis and is pretty straight forward from there, burials arent covered though, but it should help with other children etc.. hope this helps julie |

I am trying to locate the place of burial of Gilbert Keighley, son of George Keighley, born 15/11/1747. I know he married Mary Broxup at Bingley Parish Church on 26/8/1770 - and then he seems to have vanished. I am a relative newbie; am able to find people on the various censuses/censi (whatever) but have not got a clue how to find out about ancestors before 1841. Can any of you very helpful people please help me, by pointing me in the right direction? Thanks very much, Shelagh |
