Good thinking, but I would also be inclined to the mum being Hart - surely this is a Jewish name and the husband does sound what Russian? Get the cert using his name.

If you have not sent for the marriage certificate or one of the childrens birth certificates how do you know he married Ann Hart, the other female on the marriage entry is Hannah which is often shortened to Ann/Annie on census's. Marriages Jun 1891 Brennon Hannah Manchester 8d 337 Hart Ann Manchester 8d 337 Kew Thomas Manchester 8d 337 Vishinsky Alexander Manchester 8d 337 1891 census... So I take it you have one of the childrens birth certificates & it says mothers name is Ann Hart? Sorry just trying to build a picture. Georgina.

With a common name like Ann, you should definitely get the marriage certificate to find out her father's name etc. Kate.

Peppa if you are taking her birth from a later census it may not be Salford where she was born, people often changed their place of birth from census to census. If you have her on the census can you post the details. Georgina.

Your only way to be sure is to buy the marriage certificate

Peppa, Don't rely on information from other people's trees. They can give you clues but you should always back them up with your own research. Perhaps it's this other person that's made a mistake? Sarah :-)
