war death......help please

Hi can anyone tell me if someone died in the first world war (I have all the details), did they issue death certificates, thanks Mary

Yes....if they died overseas then they will be listed in the overseas army deaths on 1837online. However, these death certs do not contain much info. Along the lines of....Cause of Death: War Casualty.....Place of Death: France......is quite normal. Merry
