could someone help me please, have spent all day looking on ancestry, on the free trial for marriage of charlotte boddington born 1824 approx in chalfont st giles, to george rixon born 1826 approx in hurley, berks. have also looked on freebmd but with no luck, where else can I look. thanks jean

Try Family Search. Am told they rotate the info: so go back to it again and again as sometimes its there and sometimes it isn't ! Also look at the Census for 1851 & 1861 as it will give a rough guide to ages which may be of use at some stage.

I think Kate might have it There is this marriage listed George Rixon 1853 Q4 West London 1c 181 and if you look at the image for Charlotte Boddington for the same quarter the page no could be misread. See what you think.

hi teresa, just found charlotte boddington and george rixon on Q4 1c 181, I will now send for certificate and hope its the right ones, cant understand why they would have got married in w.london tho, when they came from bucks and berks, if it is them, no wonder I couldnt find them, been looking in wrong area. jean
