Could any one please tell me how to get rid of my 2004 Norton as i cannot afford to pay and would like to try a free prog if possible for virurses. Thanks June. |

June, click on start, go into control panel and then add or remove programs. When the list of programs comes up, simply click on the one you wish to remove and follow instructions. Rebs x |

I 'spose I should add I have XP Office. I assume the directions are the same for windows '98 etc. |

I think they are all the same for removing progs. I go start, control panel, add/remove and then trawl down the list and click on remove. If you are downloading a free one, avg7 is brilliant but do add a free firewall as well, like zone alarm. avg7 is available to download free from the grisoft website. just google for free zone alarm for your fire wall. You may want to add a free spy destroyer - try spybot. |
