Please can anyone help. My Gt Gt Grandfather was a licensed victuler, his name Charles Peirson b:1846 Brompton. On 1901 census his address is 62 Carlisle St. St Marylebone, cant find him on 1891 but on 1881 his address is 62 Carlisle St, Pine Apple, St Marylebone. I am guessing this is the name of a pub or beerhouse. I have tried googling Pine Apple and pubs and Carlisle St. but cant seem to get a match. Any help gratefully received. Thanks Marie |
