Hi Lisa You might find the following website useful to you. www.adoptionsearchreunion.org.uk and click into 'Locating adoption records'. Your unmarried mothers home may be listed. Cheers Gerry.

If you know the name of it, I would suggest contacting the local archives library for the area. I did that and got a wealth of information from them. Pat

Does anyone know of any websites that I could look at to see if theres any info about an unmarried mothers home in Bristol? Thanks Lisa
