Hi Sue. There is an address and a phone number which I have tried and says no longer available. That's why I'm a bit wary to proceed. What if the lady has passed away? Hope not as working out who she is I make her only around 60. Maybe I will just write a short letter Thanks |

Tracy If theres an address on it why not write explaining who you are and that you are now researching the family. Ask if she has found anything further and offer to send her details of anything you may have found. Keep it brief in case the lady is no longer at the same address also include a s. a. e. for her to reply with your address on the back of the envelope. Good Luck Sue |

If someone contacted a family member about the history of the family, they may have belonged to a family history society. It might be worth contacting the FHS that covers the area and asking if so & so is or has been a member. If they did their own research, they may have deposited a copy with the FHS. Good luck! |

Among the papers is a letter typed to my grandmother asking for information about her side of the family. I don't know when the letter was sent to my grandma but it was after 1986. The lady who typed the letter could be still alive so don't really want to put her name on here but if anyone can help me to try to find out it would be appreciated if i could PM you. |
