Quite a few years ago someone made some notes about my gg grandfather.Don't know who and why. I now have a list (handwritten so not sure how accurate) It lists My gg grandad along with his brothers and sisters. See below as I know this will get confusing. Update Now got marriage certificate. with Ernests fathers details but still no finds.. Can anyone help I think I must have done something to upset someone on this board I try to help but sometimes have to say sorry I can't. Sorry if I did. Tracy

Ernest (gg grandad) Sanderson Jinny Jim Maggie Arthur. Then a note saying think there were more children. I know maggie was gg grandads sister so pressuming all the others are his brothers and sisters. Then a note saying they lived Hunnick??? Durham. Searched and searched to no avail for a family resembling these. gg grandad married 1912 Annie Arnold (Whitby) Maggie married Gilbert Akeroyd (Whitby) not found that marriage as yet. Can anyone find them.. I've found some families with similar names but nothing conclusive. I have sent for marriage certificate but still waiting. So presuming all family moved here (don't know when)

Hunnick is Hunwick in County Durham I think your best bet will be to wait until the MC arrives - then you'll have an age and a coiuple of father's names to work with.

Hi Paul. No that's one of my problems. Going on his marriage date going roughly 1892. And Yes I've found that one too but have ruled it out for now anyway. Thanks

I received the marriage certificate yesterday of Ernest and Annie. I have spent 2 days trawling through the census but still found nothing. It states Ernests age as 22 so born abt 1890. Fathers name William occupation Labourer. One of the witnesses Maggie Sanderson who could be Ernests Sister. I don't know what else to look at now... Any ideas. Unless I've totally overlooked the entry of course!! Tracy
