Thanks very much for your replies girls. I have tried that website Theresa - no match, but they are continually upgrading so will look again. I think I will take Heather's advice and send for the death certificate. Sylv - if your sister comes back, please let me know. Thanks again. Suzy

Suzy Brighton Library hold the local paper the 'Brighton Argus' on microfiche - they will do research for you, but can't remember how much they charge. Looby

You could always buy her death cert and see where she died and who the informant was?

I have at long last found a Great Aunt, who I now know died in Brighton in 1973. Is there anyway I can find out more about her and/or family? Is there a local paper which may carry an obituary? Many thanks in advance. Suzy
