Yep - I've been too and the parking round the back was fine. Lots of help from the staff and I was allowed in the documents bit (even though I hadn't booked for that) 'because it wasn't too busy'. No food nearby though. I had a little walk into town to get a sandwich. Have a successful visit. Anne

Thanks Elaine. I'll be sure to tell them it's my first time too :)

Tracy I have been once and it was easy to park. Also the staff were very helpful when I told them it was my first time. It was very hot in there, too-so be warned! They won't let you take a drink into the room you are using, only in a locker outside. You will need to book about a week in advance but they will give you a choice of sessions. good luck! Elaine

Gem, I'm in Middlesbrough but I'd probably be coming from my mums, which is near Dewsbury. Thanks for the tips :) Just have to decide when I can afford the time off work now lol

Tracy There is plenty of parking space at the back of the archives office. It is just behind Wakefield College. Which direction are you coming from? Not too far from the train station either, (Westgate). It is a really friendly place, I enjoy going. Gem:)))

I am needing to go to Wakefield offices to look up things for Ossett and Liversedge. Can anyone tell me what it's like there, how easy it is to find and park, and how far in advance I should book? Thanks :)
