When I have been lucky enough to locate someone on a census, I like to have a copy of the whole family that are there that night. So far I have writen all the info out by hand, but is there a way to print off an entire families details on Ancestry? Thanks TGx

Look at the top right of the image and it says print, save share etc. Hit the print and it will do it! However it does print a big black area round the image - a waste of ink and looks bad. To avoid this you can save the image as a JPEG and then edit it with any photo/image handling program. You can crop the black area off. Anne

there's probably an easier way but I view image, it gives an option in top right hand side to save, I save to my computer. Then open saved image with paint to get rid of black border saves on ink when printing Linda

If you want the original, there is a 'print' at the top right hand side, make sure you set your paper to landscape and just print it off. If you want the transcripted copy, go on 'printable' and print that. Can you understand that...it sounds a bit muddled but it's easy.

thats what I do Jean I just add any details to their names, as I find the census quite hard to read sometimes

If the original is hard to read Valerie, I zoom in and just print the family I want. then you don't have the black border and plenty of space top and bottom to write on.

Valerie, you've get to tick 'current view' instead of 'entire image' in your print window. Jean
