1871 Parish Church.......

Just recieved a marriage cert solemnized at The Parish Church in the Parish of Stepney Middlesex.Try as I might I cannot find this Parish church. Can anyone give me or tell me where to find more info please

I think it's St Dunstan's, Stepney. (but I'm guessing, so....back in a min..............) Merry

Of course, the vicar at the church may have DECIDED HIS church was the official parish church!!! It has been known......but I think St D's is the real offical one! it would be nie if they put the church dedication on the certs, wouldn't it?! Merry

Yes it would have been nice as it would have tied up a lot of loose ends looks like I'll have to go to records office for more info though. Thanks again Sylvie x
