I thought I would ask you loveloy people if anyone can have one last go at seeing if they can find the marriage below for me. I'm stumped now but before I go off to the north west for the Parish records, would anyone mind having a wee look? The marriage is of Thomas Moreton of Comberbach (cheshire, (1816) and Lydia Leather (1820) of ashton in makerfield (lancashire). Its poss Lydia is also Mary Lydia, as I may have found her on the 1871 census this way. Lydia is still at home in 1841 with her parents, but their first child that I know of, William Moreton, is born 1844 in A-in-Mak, but the others are born in Golborne, and Churton in cheshire lastly, which seems to be where they end up. This last child is born c1859. I have one son's birth cert which names his mum as Lydia Leather, I have a possible baptism from LDS in 'Ind Hope Chapel, Wigan, Lancashire', 1820. Its driving me crackers! If anyone can find it, I'll be so grateful, you'll have stopped someone losing their mind!
