He was born in 1848 Cheshunt Essex and married Emma baker in 1871. What I really want to find are his parents. His father may have been a william. I wondered if he may be in the 1841 census. Yes William Butterworth was Hannah's second husband. They were married in 1855 in Chorlton, Lancs. She was married first to a Carter.
