Annette - I'll have a look into that one and let you know. Thank you for finding that though. Dee - only have it on paper at the moment. Will try and scan it and PM you Merry - Can't find John and Louisa 1961 Census. Found a John with Mary though so possible Louisa is a second wife/mistress. First daughter Emma born in 1859 unable to find on 1861 Census. Confused!!! |

Hi I'm looking for the marriage of John Mellor and Louisa ??? I have the birth cert of the last daughter they had in 1878 - Jessie Mellor. She was born in Toxeth Park. Their first child Emma was born 1851. Louisa's maiden name is really hard to work out but looks like Firth but could possibly be... well...anything!!! Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
