I am sure there are Anglo-Polish and anglo-Ukrainian societies that could help. Have you tried cyndi's list or googling? nell

Please help me, I am trying to trace my Grandfarther's family and have no idea where to look. He was in the military and had to stay in England after the second world war, his Mother was from what is now the Ukraine and I am at a loose end tracing there records. I would be grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction as the only thing's I can find requires you to able to read and write in Polish. I'm hoping someone somewhere knows how to help me on this. Thank you if you can.
