freda caroline jones c 1905

I am trying to trace my grandmother freda caroline jones. She married a James Edward Corfield. They had two boys, Reginald and Ivan. Unfortunately she parted from them when they were very young. We have no trace as to where she went etc. I would love to know if she remarried or had another family - my relatives! Sheila

Is 1905 her birth date? To find out if she remarried you'd have to go through the GRO marriage indexes. There's no quick way, I'm afraid. nell

If 1905 was when she was born (but I can't see an Eng/Wales birth reg) then there is this death registration between 1984 and 2001 with the right first names and year of birth (those are the only years i can check): Name: Freda Caroline Fletcher Death Year: [1991] Age: 86 Birth Date: 1 Apr 1905 Death Registration Month/Year: Jun 1991 Registration District: Bath Inferred County: Avon If she was born a different year, there are other deaths to choose from............................. merry

Thank you Merry. I have since found out that she was born in Madeley, Telford in 1904. I am a novice at this so could please advise him on how to get this information About deaths etc. Also any divorce records.
