I have an old friend in his 80's who came from Poland just after the war. He is in Poland just know visiting relatives and when he returns I'll ask him. He's actually going back to Poland to live later this year so maybe he will know where you could start. Will be in touch after I speak to him.

Hello, Do you know where in Poland your relative was born? If so then this is the key to obtaining a birth certificate as most are held in record offices specific to areas. Have a look at http://www.rootsweb.com/~polwgw/Research.html for where to go from there. Becca
