I have just taken advantage of the Ancestry offer and would be happy to repay all the time other people have taken to do look ups for me. When hubby is late shift or night duty I would get an hour or so. Any tips or hints from old hands welcome. Is it cut and paste to get the information to a reply. Do I have to give my e mail address.? Jenny |

If you are going to be sending census images to someone you need to click on the little floppy disc icon on the right hand top of the image page and save the image on your desptop. Give it a name (I usually use the name of the family searched for and year of census) . Then send it as an attachment in an email. If it's just birth, marriage or death references, then I copy and paste. Kath. x |

If you are just listing the results from a census search then just c&p. You know, the page where it says 1881 census about Joe Bloggs. It's only if you need to send an image that you need the other persons e-mail addy, you need them to pm that to you. Best of luck. Glen |
