I now have more info about my family, so my message is now updated…. My great grandmothers name was Annie Lee (gypsy) born in 1895?(not sure about the date)(she was young) She fell pregnant out of wedlock to someone who was not a gypsy. She was told to leave the family. She did not marry the person that she fell pregnant to but married my great grandfather Arthur Edward Rowley in 1909. Their marriage was registered under the Newcastle Lyme district. In total Annie had 10 children….their names were Elsie, Agnes, Emily, Arthur, Elizabeth, Frederick, Ethel, Albert (my grandad, who was born on the 8th of may 1924 ), Harold and Jean. They lived on a hill at Peggies Bank, Staffordshire, England. My grandad has a cousin called Winset Lee (I don’t know how to spell his first name…or if it’s 100% correct). He knows of two of his aunties. Their names are Sarah and Agnes Lee. I have been told that my granddads sister Emily had a daughter called moreen…but I’m not 100%sure of that either. My mums name is Sandra Christine Green….she was born in 1958 in Staffordshire, England. Just wanted to thank Deborah Ridley for giving me the information about their marriage certificate, which I will soon be sending of for. From Joeleen
