I was wondering if anyone can help me, im trying to trace my Mum who left me when i was 18 months old, i am 44 now which would make her 81. I tried to trace her through the Salvation Army but no luck they told me she must have changed her surname! I have found where her mother and father are buried. Can anyone tell me through census wether anyone else lived at 45 norwich road, Lowestoft, suffolk my mum was born 1924 so anything before or after, so i could see if she had any brothers or sisters as i dont know. Im not very good with computers, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading this. Janet

The last census was 1901 and as your mother was born in 1924 this will be of no use to you. Who lived at that address, was it your grandparents? If you can give names, and also dates when your grandparents married, it is possible that if your mother had any brothers or sisters their names could be found by searching your grandparents first. When did you last have contact with your mother? If you would like to send me a private message, I might be able to go further with this for you.
