Hi Helen, if it's between 1855 and 1904 you can download and print off certificate image from Scotlands People, if it's a later one you can go here and it will give you the details of how to obtain a more modern one. http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/famrec/bdm/index.html best wishes Christine
