Double Wedding?

I have found a double wedding with adjacent page numbers. 4a 24032 and 4a 2404, only in this case it was the Bride's father and the groom's mother who joined them. A brother and sister of the happy couple were already married. I suppose they believed in keeping it in the family. David

Thanks for that. So it could be possible then.......Off to spend yet more money - but it's money well spent of course! (hubby disagrees though)

You can only get 2 weddings on a page in the register so it is possible to have them on consecutive pages. Janice

As far as I know, all weddings that take place on the same day are on the same page. I guess the only way to find out is to order the certs. nell

I just started to get all excited as I thought I'd found a double wedding for two sisters in my tree. It's the same quarter and year (Q4, 1906) However the page numbers aren't the same, but they do follow on: 6b 643 and 6b 644. As they aren't the same, does this definitely rule out a double wedding? Many Thanks Helen
