Hence you knew how to spell Boroughbridge too Ann! lol Did you find any BMD's for North Yorkshire? I'd be interested to know. I know there isn't much for the areas I mentioned in East Yorks. Hope they get in touch soon - if not I might have to give them a nudge! lol Jeanette x

jeanette.I found lots of my rellies on Yorkshire site today...the births are ok but the deaths only go up to 1887! Still its better than it was.:).....hope they contact you to help transcribing! I lived in Harrogate all my childhood, hence the knowledge of the area..............

Hi Brenda Burroughbridge is in North Yorkshire these days. I doubt you will find anything on YorkshireBMD yet as it doesn't appear that they are contributing yet. Of course you could volunteer to do some transcribing for them. I think the nearest register office is at Knareborough, so you could try ringing them and ask if they are contributing and if you can offer your services. Jeanette x

Need BMD info for Burroughbridge... I've been looking at yorkshirebmd online but can't find any mention of it. Does it come under Yorkshire (North) or is it another county, Teeside maybe?? Thanks, Brenda
