I have just received a reply to my e-mail from the GR support team regarding the Ancestry link via the GR website. Apparently it was only a 'trial' for a month (something that I was not aware of at the time of signing up) and they are not yet sure whether they will be featuring a link to Ancestry in the future. Next time's featured link will be of a Scottish website. I'm sure I wasn't told any of this before I subscribed to the Ancestry UK website, but I shall read the small print a lot closer next time. The only thing I can say is I can access the Ancestry site via my welcoming e-mail from them as the US website didn't recognise my subscription, so all is not lost!

Hi Jacqueline - I live in the US and have a US Ancestry subscription, I don't have any problems logging on to the UK Ancestry site, you should be able to access both. Regards, Brenda
