I've only had Ancestry 2 hours and trying to find my way round it. Main problems so far are:- 1 - How to print the census long ways instead of down (I'm losing where born etc) 2 - Is it possible to search for someone on census or birth and state the fathers name Any help much appreciated. Hi Chrissie I hade the same problem, if you save the census image to your PC then print it seems to come out OK. Di |

Thanks very much Diane, I'll try that. I tried e-mailing it to myself but it was so small that I couldn't read it:)) |

Zoe Thanks very much. I wondered if there was a rotate fascillity. I couldn't see one but will have to look harder. I didn't really want to change my printer or I shall be forever changing it backwards and forwards:)) Now that I know you can't search with father name etc, I am even more impressed by how quickly you all seem to find people:)) I expect I shall find my way around in time. All the info much appreciated. I don't suppose this will be the last you'll see of my questions:)) Chrissie |

I've been using File/Page-set-up to achieve the desired rotation. That also gives you some more subtle %ge adjustments on some systems. Christine |
