THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS TRIED TO HELP US ON OUR SEARCH.SOMEONE GAVE US THE FILGHT DETAILS FROM 1969 THE OTHER DAY, IT WAS OUR MEAD'S.ALTHOUH RON AND VIOLETS ELDEST SON WAS NOT ON THAT FLIGHT. WE ARE TRYING TO FIND HIS DATE OF BIRTH WHICH WE HOPED WOULD BE ON THE PASSAGER LIST IF WE CAN FIND IT.ONCE A GAIN A BIG THANK-YOU.

Hi Kat. Dont know of any Australian GR. unless you mean the one at the very bottom of this page. ( Find old friends in Oz.) FR. Cant be real sure, when the 10 pound immigration stopped, but i think it was late 1960s early 70s. ( my brother in-law was on this scheme ) Cheers. good luck jane! i hope you dont mind if i ask antony a question also?.. he seems to have loads of help info... ...Tony could i just ask if you know if we can post a message on the Australian GR ? or did i just dream it ? i swear one day while i was going through 'the pages' of GR i saw an aus. link ?? or do we have to pay a separate subscription ?( i'm just looking for one such person... she left essex with her parents & 1x brother around 1960 JEAN HART aged about 9yrs.) when did the assisted 10 pound immigration end ??? thanks for your time, xkx

There is one KB Mead listed in the Telstra White Pages in regional Queensland. www.whitepages*com*au

Try the Australian National Archives and use the RecordSearch. www.naa.gov.au I found 1 Ronald Mead (a ship deserter) and 1 Ronald Henry Mead who came to Australia by plane with his family.
