Are there any websites like Free BMD or 1837, or others, in the USA and Canada?? I'm trying to find relatives born in 1900's. Sorry if this has been asked before, but any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sue

Sandra, Thanks for your offer, I'm not sure it will help me, as I'm looking for post 1950. Thanks anyway, I'll send you a message if all else fails!! Sue

Sue, It will be difficult to find anything recent in Canada due to privacy legislation. I know Ontario has birth 1869 - 1907, marriages 1869 - 1923 and deaths 1869 - 1932. Presume the rest of Canada to be similar. If you can prove you are a direct relative it is possible to send for certs more recent but you would have to know the details which kind of defeats the purpose! Kind Regards Barbara
