Jen Thanks for the offer, may need to take you up on it. My tutor informed me at the end of this last course that I should go for a part time degree in History - bit daunted by it to be honest Dee |

Dee - no such thing as too many books! I'm considering running a mobile 2ndhand bookbike! Noted yours, cheers. Message me if you get stuck, did BA in English & Women's Studies, may have useful info or even books for you! lol Jen My fave t-shirt 'If I have a little money I buy books. Anything else I spend on food and clothes - Petrarch' or summing (without leaving PC!) |

I shall look out for those Jen, sound interesting My most recent finds were on the Social History of women: Medieval Women - Henrietta Leyser Women in England - 1500-1760 - Anne Laurence Women in England - 1760-1914 - Susie Steinbech Trouble is I spend far too much money on books, especially as the ones I needed for my course work last year were mostly out of print Dee |

Hi, just got 3 fab new books, had to recommend them as they give good social history: The Hanoverians 1714-1815 by VHH Green England in the Age of Hogarth - 18th cen - by Derek Jarrett In Search of GB and Northern Europe - Readers Digest, People and Places series Just dipped in so far, but all three are interesting...Jen :-)) |
