Hello Helen, You are right in what you have siad i he is dead in 1881 because His wife is down as a widow. |

Hello Tracey I think his aged when he died is to old. I can not pin down an exact D.O.B but i know it was between 1825 and 1831. Thank you for looking |

Melvyn I presume you think he must be dead before 1881 because you can't find him on the census. Is it possible he wasn't dead, but just mistranscribed? what do you know about him - occupation, how old he was etc. Have you checked the full GRO death indexes or just Freebmd? If it's any consolation (which I am sure it isn't) I can't find my gt gt gt grandfather, last sighting aged 71 in 1851 census. I think he MUST be dead by now... nell |

I am looking for the death of Jeremiah Tattersall between 1871 and 1881 in lancashire possibly Bury I have been unable to find and i have started to pull my hair and teeth out. I hope someone can help or i might need to go to the dentist soon Thanks |
