If your William King was born 1881 and the marriage certificate gives his father as William King Quarryman - then I'd suggest looking for a family in 1891 with both William's in it and the father a quarreyman. the 1891 is available on Ancestry.com which can be access at a Family History center or through the link on this site or you may be able to get someone to look for you (try this board - there are some offering to do lookups) ( give them ALL the clues you have from the marriage certificate.)

Cherie, Try Googling CWGC, Commonwealth War Graves Commission. There are 4 or 5 W McManus deaths recorded. If you click on the name it gives some details of the individual. I saw one from the Irish Guards on there.
