I have got the birth certificate of my husbanfd's grandfather - who was illegitmate born 1890 - the address of where he was born is stated as 26 Tonburnt (?) Road, St Paul Bedford U S D. Also any ideas where I can view/buy a street map of Bedford circa 1890. Thanks Karen |

After doing a google urban sanitary district it is basically the first public health system. Still not having any joy with a street map of 1890 - lots of maps but no details on them - it is a real pain I wanted to be able to locate where the various extended family lived. Thanks to everyone Karen |
